Sausalito Art Festivals

The ICB Building (Marinship) now opens the Artists Studios for two public events. The Spring Marin Arts Council Artists Open Studios Tour is normally held on the first two weekends in early May.

The ICB Building Winter Open Studios event is normally held the first weekend in December.

You can view some of the fine art works of these artists by visiting
Sausalito Artists Open Studios and or ICBBuilding.

A Sausalito tradition for 40+ years, this is a fascinating opportunity to wander in and out of the studios where eighty plus painters, sculptors, and craftspeople create their work.

There is no better place to find exceptional works of art, unique crafts and special gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you buy directly from the artists.

Nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the North end of Sausalito, is a landmark historic building steeped in the area's ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists.

The major event of the year is the very popular Sausalito Arts Festival,  it will be celebrating its 56th year and attracts 50,000 visitors normally over the three day Labor Day Weekend "

The best local, American, and International Artists (+200) bring their combined perspectives, virtuoso skills, and more than 20,000 original works of art — including paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, mixed media, and photography.

From functional to surreal, witty to the elegantly decorative, these one-of-a-kind and limited edition Art Works form an unparalleled collection that can only be seen once a year. Enjoy nonstop entertainment on three stages or gourmet delights with champagne and fine wines.
