Alamo Danville California Art Society

About Us atThe Alamo-Danville Artists' Society (ADAS) was founded as a non-profit in 1977 by Beth Batchelor and Ida Farese. Our mission is to foster fine art appreciation and education within our communities and to provide the opportunity for artists to further their artistic development.

We are especially proud of our fundraising efforts for art programs in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Our Community Art Education Program (CAEP) grants are awarded annually to these schools at our year-end party in December. Thank you for making a donation today to keep the arts alive in our schools!

ADAS artists deliver an impressive schedule of exhibits throughout the year. We can always use more volunteers for these events, so let us know how you'd like to get involved. Click on any of these titles to learn more. And be sure to check this page often for updates!

Art in the Park

Artists' exhibit tents are accompanied by musical entertainment, food vendors and wine merchants in the park on Front Street, next to the Danville Library. Demonstrations by renowned artists will going on throughout the weekend. This festive celebration of fine art is hosted again by the Town of Danville and ADAS.

Holiday Party & CAEP Awards

ADAS is very proud to have donated over $72,000 to arts educators in the San Ramon Valley Schools since 1994. Please join us for our annual holiday party to celebrate this year's fundraising efforts that go toward our Community Art and Education Program (CAEP). The highlight of this evening comes after dinner when we present donation checks to local schools' art educators. These recipients often have very personal stories to share about how they will use the money... it's a wonderful reminder of how important our efforts are to the community. This party is open to the public (FREE!). 989 San Ramon Valley Blvd (Danville Congregational Social Hall).
