Artists Open Studios Tours
and Events The
ICB Building (Marinship) now opens the
Artists Studios for two public events. The Spring Marin Arts Council Artists Open Studios Tour is held normally the first two weekends in early May. The ICB Building Winter Open Studios event is normally held the first weekend in December. A Sausalito tradition for 39 years, this is a fascinating opportunity to wander in and out of the studios where eighty plus painters, sculptors, and craftspeople create their work. There is no better place to find exceptional works of art, unique crafts and special gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you buy directly from the artists. Nestled close to the San Francisco Bay, toward the North end of Sausalito, is a landmark historic building steeped in the area's ship building roots, and rekindled by the creative juices of a vibrant community of artists.
