Begins

Residents and visitors alike
are invited to join in Sausalito's exciting celebration of the arts on 2nd
Wednesday a monthly open house "Art
Walk" showcasing a wide range of art, artists, galleries and participating
merchants throughout the city. 2nd Wednesday
takes place between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. at selected venues in the downtown
and Caledonia Street areas..

Annual Floating Art
Show In Sausalito
Yes, art floats at this fun Sausalito event on the water. The next show will
be on Saturday, April 24, 2010, Sausalito’s colorful floating homes
community will present the eighth annual Artists of Issaquah free
exhibition. Guests will view and purchase a wide variety of outstanding art
while aboard some of these unique, world-famous water homes.
Resident artists from Issaquah Dockwill again be joined by those from
Liberty, South Forty, Gate 61/2, West Kappas and A Docks. They will offer at
attractive prices: paintings, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, mixed media
art and turned exotic wood bowls.

Sausalito Spring Fair
The Sausalito Spring Faire is
held the first weekend in May in beautiful downtown Sausalito. Our 35th
Annual Faire will be held normally the first weekend in
May. Enjoy 100+ artists, fine food, wine, live music and a
children's entertainment area featuring music, theater and activities just
for kids! Admission to the Spring Faire is free.
The Sausalito Spring Faire is
an annual fundraiser for Sausalito Nursery School. We would like to thank
our sponsors for their generous contributions which help make this special
community event possible.

Marin Arts Open Studio
and ICB Building Winter Open Studios
Twice a year, the Industrial
Center Building opens its doors for Artists' Open Studios, and the highlight
event of every year is the Marin Arts Council Open Studios, which normally takes
place on the first two weekends of May.
Annual - The Caledonia
St Fair
The
Caledonia St Fair is normally held on the Memorial Day Weekend in
May. If
you would like to reserve a booth to sell jewelry in the garden area of
Studio 333, contact Christopher at 415-290-0934. Spaces are $75. You must
bring your own table. There are over 100 artists of all mediums who
participate in the one day event. All artists in the garden area will be
jewelry artists. The spaces located in the garden area are half the price
you’d pay going through the fair itself. Electricity is available upon
request. Over 5,000 people attended the fair last year.
Sausalito Farmers Market
Every Friday Night Starting in May,
Sausalito Chamber Sponsored Events - Jazz and Blues by the Bay
Every Friday beginning in
May 6:30-8pm. Come to Gabrielson Park and enjoy the music! Bring a
blanket and chair and enjoy food and beverages sponsored by Sausalito Parks
and Recreation Committee!

Arias In The Afternoon
Arias in the Afternoon with the San
Francisco Opera Merola Program returns this year
to Gabrielson Park on Sunday, August 6 and 13,
starting at 3pm. The
Sausalito Parks and Recreation Department will
transform the park into an open-air theatre. Come
and enjoy the San Francisco
Opera in the beautiful and picturesque setting of
Gabrielson Park. This free two-hour program
is once again sponsored by the Arques Charitable
Education Trust. Tables for 6 are available for
reservation. Call

years, the Artists' Winter Open Studios is a fascinating opportunity to
wander in and out of the studios where eighty plus painters, sculptors, and
craftspeople create their work.
There is no better place to find exceptional works of art, unique crafts and
special gifts, while also enjoying the savings that are offered when you buy
directly from the artists.
